20" x 20" acrylic on canvas, framed
I recently found out that dahlias became the official flower of San Francisco in 1926. They were chosen because of their variety, with different colors and shapes that suit our diverse city. In July 2024, a friend and I spent the morning taking pictures of the beautiful blooms at the San Francisco Dahlia Garden. This painting captures the spirit of that memorable day.
